about Angela
As a strategist, creative director, store designer, and visual merchandising professional, I am passionate about the intersection of design, art, and human connection. My work spans multiple disciplines, from crafting immersive retail environments to creating site-specific installations and sculptures. Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a deep commitment to the idea that every space and every object carries the potential to tell a story—one that is often unspoken yet profoundly resonant.
Drawing inspiration from assemblage theory, I am particularly fascinated by the idea that all things, no matter how disparate or seemingly unrelated, are inherently connected. I find beauty in the amalgamation of forgotten fragments and discarded materials, seeing in them the stories of the people and communities that created, used, and lived with them. My work reflects this belief, exploring the cultural, spiritual, and emotional layers embedded in the environments we inhabit. Each object, each space, holds a history and a meaning that can enrich our understanding of the world around us.
As an artist, my practice has always been rooted in a curiosity about the lives of those who build and shape their surroundings with what is readily available. I am drawn to the overlooked elements—the humble, the discarded, the things often considered without value. By repurposing these materials, I aim to highlight their hidden potential and reveal the beauty that lies within them. In both my design and art, I seek to unravel the tapestry of existence, encouraging others to see the interconnectedness of everything, and to appreciate the stories embedded in the things and spaces we often take for granted.
Through my work, I strive to create experiences that are not only visually compelling but also emotionally resonant. Every design choice, every sculptural piece, is made with the understanding that spaces and objects deeply impact those who interact with them. Whether I am designing a retail environment, curating a visual display, or creating a piece of art, my goal is always the same: to create spaces and experiences that invite reflection, evoke emotion, and celebrate the beauty in the everyday.
